  • Integrating toric varieties with other ambient structures in Magma
  • 3pm–4pm, Thursday 6th May, 2010
  • Carlaw 535
  • I will explain the recent improvements of the toric geometry package. The improvents include integrating toric varieties with the other scheme structures, which allow to extend the possibilities of existing machinery, for instance curves. We also implemented new algorithms and improved existing ones.
