  • Classifying toric log Del Pezzo surfaces with the aid of a computer
  • 3pm–4pm, Thursday 19th February, 2009
  • Carslaw 361
  • In a joint work with Max Kreuzer and Benjamin Nill, techniques for classifying all toric log Del Pezzo surfaces up to some arbitrary index were described. Continuing the recent theme of toric talks, I will outline the methods involved and explain why polytopes are so important in toric classifications.
