  • Connected linear algebraic groups in characteristic zero are completely determined by their Lie algebras. In this talk I will discuss algorithms to make this correspondence effective. In particular I will talk about how to decide whether a given linear Lie algebra corresponds to an algebraic group, and on how to find the group if it does.
