  • Exterior algebra methods give a method to compute the cohomology of coherent sheaves. This talk explains the underlying principle such as the Bernstein–Gelfand–Gelfand correspondence, Tate resolution and Beilinson monads.

As an application we sketch how to compute the Chow form of a scheme, and derive certain resultant formulas.

This is joint work with David Eisenbud.
